A Couple More Family Peeks

Here are a few more family pictures from this weekend. I wasn't kidding when I said they were cute. Enjoy!

Cute Family--1 For Now

I hoped to have a few more of these ready. But, now I will shoot for tomorrow. These were lots of fun to take and I think there are some very cute ones.

I tried adding a texture to the background. I have seen it a lot recently and thought it worked for this picture. What do you think? Fabulous? Too Trendy? Texture--What Texture?

Getting Bigger

This little boy is getting bigger. I don't know exactly how much he weighs, but his physique is composed of many rolls. He is such a good baby and only fusses when he's tired or hungry and then only rarely. His days are filled with smiling, laughing, cooing, eating and sleeping. He puts up with lots of love and attention from his sisters who STILL rush to get him up the moment he wakes up. And he puts up with a mom who is always wanting to take his picture.

These BW pictures are somewhat monocromatic, but I think I like them. What do you think?

Not much else eventful going one here. We finished canning pears this week. The job got spread out over about 5 days, but we can finally say it's finished. Looking forward to the weekend! Hope you enjoy yours!

A Few [Dirty] Feet

Just thought I would post these feet pictures. The girls were outside playing on the swings the other day. My youngest daughter has mastered pumping this year, but still likes a push once in a while. My kid's feet don't stay clean long--sorry about the dirt. I'd rather take pictures than wash feet.

What Might Happen if your kids get a hold of your camera

A couple of weeks ago, my kids were having a terrible fit of boredom. There was much whining and woeing (is that a word--probably not.) In an act of sheer desperation, I let my daughters borrow one of my cameras to take pictures outside. About 300 pictures later, this is what I found on the memory card (thank goodness for digital)!

If your children borrow your camera, you might find 200 pictures of the neighbors doing nothing. BTW--200 isn't much of an exaggeration.

You might also find extreme close-ups of the neighbors.

Or pictures of the neighbors trying to escape crazy children with cameras.

You might find out how your umbrella got broken.

You might find a photographic journal of every living thing in your yard and the neighboring yards.

You might find pictures of your children's friends' dog.

And occasionally you might find a great picture like this!

Bath Time!

Jacob loves to take baths! He has loved them since the day he was born.

I think he just loves to be in the water. It relaxes his whole body and then the smiles will begin to overflow.

(Please excuse the blur.)

The day he got his 2 month shots, he was fussy and upset. I tried all usual tricks to calm him down. Then, Greg suggested that I give him a bath. The minute he hit the water, he was a different boy. Needless to say, it was a long bath. He gets lots of baths since he likes them so much and everyone wants to help.

What a life!

The Last of the Wedding Pictures

I think I have finished editing the last of the wedding pictures I took 3 weeks ago. I am pleased with how they turned out and it has been a lot of fun trying something new. I have just a few last pictures I will share. The last picture is my favorite picture that Brooke took the day of the wedding.

Just a little fun

Just decided to have a little fun with all the pictures I took today. To get Jacob laughing, we were all being silly and making faces. I now wish I had a picture of us. I am sure it would have made y'all laugh out loud. Enjoy!
